MULBERRY
FITTED KITCHENS ANNOUNCED AS FINALIST IN NATIONAL KITCHEN AND BATHROOM
AWARDS
Mulberry Fitted Kitchens has been nominated as a finalist
in the prestigious kbbreview Awards 2012. The national awards are organised
by kbbreview, the UK’s leading magazine for the kitchen and bathroom
industry. The Hull based business has reached the finals of the Customer
Service Award for Kitchens.
Colleen Barber, Director of Mulberry Fitted Kitchens,
says: “I was delighted to hear that kbbreview’s mystery shopper
decided that Mulberry was her preferred showroom. I was initially shocked
to hear I had been dealing with the mystery shopper, and then a bit disappointed
to realise that the lady interested in a painted kitchen with a modern
twist would not be buying it from me! To then receive a call informing
me I had made the shortlist was fabulous! It has given a great boost in
staff confidence and morale, and we are more than proud to have got to
this stage
“Times are hard for everyone and we all know that
a new kitchen is a major investment; being able to tell potential customers
that we have been shortlisted for this award emphasises our promise of
good old fashioned customer service and product knowledge.”
Tim Wallace, editor of kbbreview says: “The kbbreview
Awards set out to recognise and reward excellence in the kitchen and bathroom
industry. All the finalists have a passion for this industry and to be
shortlisted is such an admirable achievement, and Colleen should be very
proud.
“It
is amazing that the industry continues to produce such great talent
in the current economic climate. This year's entries have been superb
and the standard incredibly high! We would like to wish Mulberry Fitted
Kitchens the best of luck and congratulate them on being chosen as a
finalist.”
KBB
Review is a long running magazine for retailers, designers
and architects in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry. Every
month they do a special feature which involves a mystery shopper visiting
various areas of the UK. The September 2011 edition reviewed the mystery
shoppers visit to Hull. Out of the 6 showrooms visited, Mulberry Kitchens
came out top. This is what the mystery shopper had to say:
"Situated
on one of Hull's many trading estates, the big windows, blue painted
porch and navy and gold painted sign set the tone for this classy showroom
with its classic displays of solid wood and painted kitchens.
I mentioned
to Colleen that I liked the painted look, but would like a modern twist,
so she pulled out an image of a stunning kitchen with charcoal painted
base units. "This is lovely," she said. "Ideally I would
like to put something like this in our front window." Colleen then
showed me a neatly presented folder containing photos of kitchens Mulberry
had installed alongside the original CAD drawings.
Asking
about appliances, Colleen walked me round the showroom pointing out
various ovens, including a built-in steam oven and a coffee machine.
She took the door off a Neff model to show me how easy it would be to
clean before demonstrating an induction hob. "I was dedicated to
gas cooking, but I've had one of these since November and now I wouldn't
go back," she said.
As I left,
Colleen explained that it would be her business partner Geoff who would
come to my house to measure up and introduced us".
Colleen
demonstrated a genuine interest.
We
scored 4 for service and 4 for the showroom, an overall 8/10
We
are very proud to announce that we have been selected by the Kuhlmann
family of Enger in Northern Germany as the solus dealer in East Yorkshire
for their unique "RWK"
bespoke kitchens.
The
individuality of design possibilities and the incredible value for money
have to be seen first hand - and now you can! The first three room setting
displays were installed in March 2005 and we are proud to say that the
first four orders for some amazing continental design commissions are
already being produced in Germany. You must come along and have a peek,
even if it's only to sample the exquisite coffee!
