TAPS - Your choice will often be
dictated by your choice of sink - it’s
important that they match the overall
design concept. |
PILLAR
taps are the traditional style - one
for hot, one for cold. A bit old-fashioned
for kitchen use these days, but a low-cost
option if required. |
|
DECK
MIXER taps are the
next stage up - they connect two traditional
inlets to a single spout controlled
by separate hot/cold knobs. Again, a
bit old-fashioned, but still a regular
choice with standard stainless steel
sinks. |
|
MONOBLOC
taps take the hot &
cold supplies through a single inlet
into a single mixer spout, but still
controlled by separate hot/cold knobs
or levers. They are the most popular
choice by far and for good reason. They
are available, as standard, in a vast
range of colours and styles to match
any kitchen choice. In particular they
are available in exact colour and texture
matches for the full range of cast-resin
sinks on the market. The modern ‘cruciform’
styles are fitted with ceramic-disc
valves which make dripping taps a thing
of the past. |

BRIDGE
MIXER taps are a high
cost, but very desirable version of
the standard monobloc, whereby both
the flow and temperature are controlled
by a single lever - very trendy! |

SINGLE-LEVER MONOBLOC taps
are a high cost, but very desirable
version of the standard monobloc, whereby
both the flow and temperature are controlled
by a single lever - very trendy! |
