Bonnie
and Paul Wraight - Brough
Following
several disappointing forays into the world of fitted kitchens,
Bonnie thankfully encountered the sympathetic ear of Dawn Taylor
at Mulberry.
In
Bonnie's words, "Dawn was so helpful in answering
our questions, there was a good range of different styles of kitchens
in the showroom and we were treated so well, not harassed in any
way. I had strong ideas and I wanted someone to do it all - the
flooring - the walls - joinery - everything and it was nice to
be treated in such a pleasant way - to be listened to."
Bonnie
and Paul eventually selected a contemporary maple "slab"
style door paired with a contrasting accent of stainless steel
curved doors and drawers. These were dressed with unusual crystal
handles. Sadly, our photographs do not do justice to the custom
made stainless steel splash-backs extending above the luxurious
sparkling black of the engineered stone worktops, but, believe
me, the effect is simply stunning.
The
appliances are by Neff with the sink and tap by Blanco and Franke
respectively. I should point out that an Insinkerator "instant
boiling water" tap was included in the brief. Karndean flooring
was chosen to be fitted throughout the utility room, kitchen,
hallway and cloakroom and has proved to be a resilient and fun
surface for their two exuberant dogs Halle and Piper.
Bonnie
summed up be saying "We're really pleased with it - the hot
water tap is brilliant and makes a wonderful cup of tea - the
induction hob is so quick, no time lapse and perfect simmering.
The men were great - Keith the fitter was so helpful and Darren
was always there to liaise with and to keep you informed. Altogether
marvellous."
As
usual, our client's valued comments are reproduced with our deepest
thanks for their valued custom and hospitality.
