Practical
Elegance in Modern Kitchen Design
In
our continuing efforts to fuel your interest, our July Kitchen
of the Month vividly demonstrates what can be achieved when a
splash of primary colour is introduced.
Our
clients, Tracy and David Porter have completely refurbished their
North Ferriby home to the highest standard and we are very proud
to have provided this stunning example from our exclusive range
of RWK Kitchens of Germany.
To
further the airy open spaces of their home, high gloss cream cabinetry
was chosen. These are accentuated by unusual concave units in
stainless steel, the opposite side of which is a gently curved
breakfast bar. Notice how the different working levels promote
good ergonomics whilst the polished surface of the Negro Luciente
reflects the natural light around the kitchen.
Interestingly,
the central slash of red is 2 extra-wide tambour dressers made
entirely from red glass - not only visually stunning but excellent
hidden storage for the toaster, kettle etc.
As
always, Mulberry tailor kitchen design to the individual requirements
of each and every client and the Porters are no exception. Georgie,
the youngest family member now has her own little breakfast bar
carved from solid bamboo - just right to keep her eye on mummy
and daddy! Dad, perhaps to reflect his appreciation of exotic
motor cars, chose the Franke sink designed by no other than F.A.
Porsche! When Dave has to wash up - he now does it with speed
AND style.
To
sum up in Dave Porters words, "It's a very practical kitchen
with a lot of space". |
