Mr
& Mrs Beaumont - East Yorkshire
After
their farmhouse-style kitchen was lost due to flooding, a viewing
of the gorgeous RWK German kitchen
displays at Mulberry in Hull convinced Josie Beaumont that her long-term
desire for "Something completely different," was finally
within her reach.
After
several consultations with our designer Colleen, it was agreed that
the dominant colour would be graphite, strategically highlighted
by magnolia contrasts and topped with a warm planked walnut. The
continental styling was further enhanced by stainless steel plinths,
handles and luxury appliances by Neff.
A
clever use of "floating" glass display cabinets over the
walnut breakfast bar completes a superbly efficient and pleasing
layout.
Mrs
Beaumont told me, "As we had so many problems with the floods
and our building works, I naturally assumed that the kitchen would
go wrong too! Not so - Mulberry were the last people in and I have
to say that the kitchen was the only thing that went without a hitch
- everything fitted, all the men were wonderful, I'm so thrilled
with it - everything is at hand and everyone that's seen it loves
it."
