Mr
& Mrs Cook - Anlaby
Rod
Cook, a builder for many years, and his wife Norma wanted the kitchen
for their new house to be designed at the building stage and, having
seen our features in the Journal and hearing our name from friends,
decided to visit our National Avenue Studio.
The
brief was fairly simple, "This will probably be our last kitchen
so quality is most important."
Several
consultations later, all was agreed and the work began. Tasteful
oak doors in the timeless shaker style are complimented by gleaming
black granite worktops with a matching oak and granite table.
The
built-in appliances by Neff and Franke ensure that every cooking
chore becomes a pleasure and the Karndean flooring has proved a
big hit with Norma - warm under foot and so easy to keep clean.
As
the regular readers of our monthly features know, we always finish
with our clients' direct quotes (our chance to bask in warm praise!)
"Everybody
has said what a lovely kitchen, where did you get it?"
"The
kitchen fitters were very, very good, even the granite guys were
so meticulous - anything at all was sorted out there and then -
now you don't always get that from tradesmen".
